Knights basketball endures tough overtime loss against OSU Cowboys, 111-104

The Oklahoma State University (OSU) Cowboys grounded the Knights’ effort to reach for the stars in overtime 111-104 during the Space Game on Tuesday night at Addition Financial Arena.

Junior guard Chris Johnson gave UCF a fighting chance after tying 94-94 with a three-pointer just moments away from the end of the game.

Though the numerous fouls called on both teams disrupted momentum and led to the Knights’ (20-9, 9-8) second straight loss in the last home game of the 2025-26 season.

Five-setter against Omaha Supernovas gives Orlando Valkyries 4th home loss

The Orlando Valkyries came up short in a nail-biting five-setter, losing 3-2 against the Omaha Supernovas on Sunday afternoon at Addition Financial Arena.

Orlando (5-4) previously beat Omaha (7-3) early in the 2026 season at the CHI Health Center, where Valkyries head coach Amy Pauly took note of Omaha outside hitter Brooke Nuneviller, a player who currently leads Major League Volleyball in points and kills.

An out-of-this-world upset, UCF beats No.11 Texas Tech 88-80

A crowd of over 8,500 watched the UCF men’s basketball team deliver an upset victory against the 11th-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders 88-80 during its Space Game on Saturday at Addition Financial Arena.

The Knightmare stormed the court prematurely at first as a foul was called on junior guard Chris Johnson, allowing Texas Tech junior forward LeJuan Watts to shoot two free throws with less than a second left of the matchup.

Shortly after, Knight Nation rushed to the court once again to celebrate UCF taking down another ranked team at home during conference play.

A second-half comeback secures UCF victory over Arizona State, 79-76

UCF pulled off a comeback victory at home, 79-76, after recovering from a 12-point deficit late in the second half against Arizona State on Tuesday night.

The Knights (16-4, 5-3 Big 12) secured their second consecutive win over the Sun Devils (11-10, 2-6 Big 12) while experiencing foul trouble and shooting struggles from the three-point line.

UCF men’s basketball head coach Johnny Dawkins said in the postgame press conference that his players believe as long as there’s time on the clock, they still have a chance.

UCF students, families and friends gathered in the 77-degree Florida weather on Sunday morning at Blanchard Park to run for a cause.
